PKF Littlejohn has announced the appointment of Neil Shaw as a partner in its corporate and capital markets team.

Shaw originally trained as an engineer and worked for a major engineering consultancy, with a focus on renewables and energy transition, before becoming an auditor with a Big Four firm.

Since then, he has developed a reputation as a highly technical audit specialist who works with large and complex clients across a range of industries including renewable energy, technology and manufacturing.

He is based in PKF Littlejohn’s Leeds office and will play a key role in helping the firm to continue to grow its presence in the Yorkshire region, following a number of recent hires and a move to new city-centre offices.

Dominic Roberts, managing partner of PKF Littlejohn, said: “Neil brings a unique skillset to PKF Littlejohn. With his engineering background, exceptional technical skills and strong people focus, Neil is ideally placed to help businesses in many key sectors.

“As a firm, we are making significant investments in our operations in the North, and Neil’s arrival is the latest demonstration of that. We want the region’s best people to join us as we continue to expand our presence here – Neil’s appointment sends that message very clearly and also bolsters our regional leadership yet further.
