Forvis Mazars has appointed Raj Bhundia as a tax partner in its London office.

As part of the Specialist Tax Services team, Bhundia will focus on growing this area of the business as it expands its services to meet the “evolving needs of clients”.

In his new role he will also be responsible for developing the firm’s Short Term Business Traveller proposition.

Bhundia joins from EY where he was a partner in Financial Services. At EY, he created and led both the Short Term Business Traveller and Employment Tax Services teams within the EMEIA Financial Services market.

He also led global mobility programmes for FTSE100/S&P500 and mid-market organisations, and helped organisations manage in-country and cross border employment tax risks.

Liz Ritchie, partner and head of tax at Forvis Mazars, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Raj into our team in London. He brings almost 20 years of experience, which will be invaluable as we look to grow our Specialist Tax Services offering.

“Raj has specialist expertise across Global Mobility, Business Traveller Risk services and Employment Tax, and this depth of knowledge will allow us to broaden the support that we offer clients.”
