Moore Global has announced the appointment of Nick Ong-Seng as the new chair of its ethics committee.

Ong-Seng is the first non-executive director of Moore Global who also serves as a member of the network’s Global Quality and Standards Board.

He is currently global head of governance, risk and assurance at Amazon and chairman of the quality assurance scheme committee at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

He has previously served as the board chairman of a FTSE Group Insurer, was a member of the senior leadership of the Financial Services Authority, and an ExCo member of the London Metal Exchange.

He has worked extensively across global financial institutions as a regional managing director for Bear Stearns and J.P. Morgan.

Ong-Seng said: “A strong ethics and governance strategy is the moral compass of any organisation. It is a great honour for me to accept this appointment and to assist Moore Global and its people in following this vital North Star.”

Anton Colella, global CEO, Moore Global, added: “We are delighted Nick has chosen to chair our ethics committee where he and his fellow committee members will provide independent oversight and constructive challenge to ensure the network continues to act in and protect the public interest at all times.”
