HaysMac has appointed Sabina Burke as co-head of its Creative, Media and Technology sector.
Burke will lead the firm’s largest corporate sector alongside Jon Dawson.
The sector includes businesses from across Media, Marketing and Advertising, Retail and e-commerce, and Technology, spanning early-stage, fast growth entrepreneurial and owner managed businesses, large international groups, private equity backed businesses and listed organisations.
Burke joined HaysMac’s Business Tax team as director in 2023, specialising in corporate structuring, exit and succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, SEIS/EIS tax reliefs, and international tax planning.
According to the firm, her appointment “not only confirms our commitment to develop and retain existing talent, but also continued equality and diversity”, taking its percentage of female sector heads to 57%.
Burke said: “I am thrilled to be joining Jon in leading our Creative, Media and Technology sector.
