UHY Hacker Young Manchester has been shortlisted for this year’s Insider North West Dealmakers Awards.
The group’s Corporate Finance team has been selected as a finalist for the ‘Mid-Market Corporate Finance Team of the Year’ award.
The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, 17 October at Manchester Central. It celebrates the achievements of leading professionals, including corporate financiers, accountants, lawyers, and bankers from across the North West region.
UHY Manchester’s corporate finance team has had an “outstanding” year, successfully concluding 19 deals during this period, resulting in a total with a total approximate transaction value of over £630m.
The team’s completed deals included disposals, acquisitions and management buyouts, across a diverse range of sectors including financial services, automotive retail and industrials.
With a five-year plan to double the size of the practice, the Corporate Finance team has made a significant contribution to this growth, providing over 18% of the FY24 target revenue.
