The Pennon Group has announced the appointment of PwC as its new auditor for the year ended 31 March 2025.
Ernst and Young, who have been the company’s auditor since the year ended 31 March 2015, will continue in the role until that time.
As such the company will undertake the group audit’s for the year ending 31 March 2024.
Ernst and Young LLP will cease to hold office as the group’s auditor at the conclusion of the company’s 2024 AGM.
The PwC appointment was approved by the Pennon board following a recommendation from its audit committee.
Pennon is a water company that operates throughout the Great South West of England.
It is the parent company of South West Water, Bristol Water and Bournemouth Water.
