EQ names new CEO

Craig Nicol’s appointment comes after he spent the last 14 months as non-executive director

EQ Chartered Accountants has announced the appointment of Craig Nicol as its new chief executive officer. 

The news comes as Nicol has worked with the firm as a non-executive director for the last 14 months.

Along with the partners, he has been focused on the next phase of the company’s growth journey.

In his new role, Nicol will lead the organisation with a “continued” commitment to delivering first-class client services, and a renewed people and culture strategy. 

He will also ensure that EQ realises its growth ambitions. 

Iain Gordon, partnership chairman at EQ, said: “We have been working with Craig for some time now and he has brought a wealth of experience and excellent strategic and leadership skills to EQ, and I am delighted that he will be our new CEO.
