Reward Finance and Eyre and Co. Accountants agree funding deal

Reward Finance Group and Eyre and Co. Accountants have agreed to a funding deal which will see Eyre and Co receive a £140,000 cash injection to bolster the firm’s growth plans. Eyre and Co. is an accountancy and business support firm with offices in Sheffield and Doncaster. The cash injection will enable the firm to simplify its ownership structure and push ahead with its expansion plans. This will include the opening of an office in the Nottingham area to develop an East Midlands presence, as well as continuing to grow its Yorkshire client base. The company currently has a team of eight people serving a client base of around 500 SME businesses, in sectors such as consulting, legal and construction. It has been providing accountancy and business advice services since 2019, when Claire and Andrew Eyre acquired a long established practice, AR Accountants. After agreeing a short term Business Finance facility with SME funding specialist Reward Finance Group, Eyre and Co. has boosted its working capital to complete the final stage of its acquisition, which sees Claire Eyre take sole ownership. Reward Finance Group was introduced to Eyre and Co. by Trusted Business Partner (TBP), run by James Clinghan, who brokered the funding facility in conjunction with Reward Finance Group’s Business Development director, Harriet Gibbs.
