Murray Beith Murray, an Edinburgh-based solicitors group, has announced three internal promotions and a recruitment appointment within the firm’s tax group.

Laura Brown, who has been with Murray Beith Murray since 2016, has been promoted to director of tax. 

Brown, who is an accountant by profession, is a tax specialist and has over 25 years’ experience in private client wealth management, and providing comprehensive tax advice

In addition, David Windram, has advanced from senior tax assistant to tax manager. 

Windram has a First Class BA (Hons) Accounting and has been with Murray Beith Murray since June 2018, having previously worked for several years with a “leading” Edinburgh accountancy firm, specialising in personal tax.

Finally, Charles Adams has recently joined Murray Beith Murray as senior tax assistant. 

In his new role, he will now be responsible for both tax compliance work and tax planning in relation to individuals, trusts and partnerships.
