RSM, the audit, tax, and consulting firm, has announced that four new members will join its Aberdeen office in tax and financial reporting.

The moves include two internal and two external appointments, as the group looks to add a “wealth of expertise” to the Scottish branch.

Andrew Good joins the firm from SBR Accountants, and will bring 18 years of experience working at HMRC to his new position as associate director.

Also joining the firm is Scott Allan, who will take on the role of corporate tax manager having joined the company from an international business advisory firm.

As for the internal appointments, Neil Bridgeford has relocated from Manchester to carry out his employment tax specialist responsibilities in an associate director role, while Irina Cheburdanidze has moved to the Scottish branch to cover its accounting and financial reporting services, having worked at RSM Leeds since 2014.

Speaking on the four new members, Andrew Forsyth, office managing partner at RSM Aberdeen, said: “2020 has had a huge impact on the UK and global economy and the livelihoods of many businesses and people. We’ve all had to adapt quickly to new ways of working with each other and with our clients.

“These appointments are fantastic additions to the Aberdeen team with a wealth of expertise that will help us to support client needs in what will continue to be a changing and challenging economy.”
