ReSolve, the boutique business advisory and restructuring house, is expanding its business with the appointment of Myles Jacobson as partner.

A licensed insolvency practitioner, Jacobson has over twenty-five years’ experience of restructuring and business recovery, advising businesses across a wide range of sectors including automotive, retail and construction. He joins ReSolve from UHY Hacker Young.

The firm added that he is also an active member of R3, the trade association and representative body for the UK’s insolvency, restructuring and business advisory industry, and sits on the Smaller Practices Group and London and South East Region Committees.

He also sits on the External Affairs and Member Services Committee of the Insolvency Practitioners Association, a licensing body for insolvency practitioners, as well as its Regulation and Conduct Committee.

Jacobson said: “I am delighted to be joining ReSolve as they continue to grow and strengthen their reputation as a boutique restructuring house which puts the client’s needs first.

“I believe I can make a valuable contribution to the team and help them to further their ambitions. I admire ReSolve’s business ethos, entrepreneurial approach and total focus on doing the right thing for their clients. I am excited about joining the team.”

Cameron Gunn, ReSolve senior partner, added: “We are delighted that Myles has chosen to join ReSolve. His extensive experience of working with businesses experiencing commercial difficulties will further strengthen our team and we are looking forward to working with him.”
