Global information company, Ascential has adopted the Thomas Reuters Onesource Tax Provision and Onesource Indirect Tax Compliance service.

Ascential, which operates from 39 offices around the world and serves customers across 150 countries, adopted Onesource as part of its digital transformation strategy.

The move will help companies address indirect tax and tax provisioning challenges and “future-proof” themselves in the global shift towards digital tax reporting.

Lorraine Law, tax director at Ascential who led the deployment, said: “Choosing Onesource has allowed us to remove a lot of complexity from our tax processes and given us a level of visibility that is both timely and accurate, meaning we can better support the business.

“Our investment now means that we are ready and able to adapt for new digital tax reporting requirements as they are formalised across all our jurisdictions.”

In addition to Onesource Tax Provision for global provisioning, Ascential also invested in deploying Thomson Reuters Onesource Indirect Tax Compliance, working ahead of HMRC’s 2019 ‘Making Tax Digital’ (MTD) for VAT deadline.
