Grant Thronton has stepped down as auditor of Cadogan Energy Solutions, an independent energy company, who has in its place appointed Moore Kingston Smith (MKS) to audit its accounts.

The appointment of MKS will be subject to approval by shareholders at the company’s next annual general meeting.

Grant Thornton confirmed to Cadogan Energy Solutions that there were “no circumstances connected with its resignation which it considers should be brought to the attention of the members or creditors of the company”.

Grant Thornton was first named auditor of the group in December 2021 after BDO had resigned as auditor of the group. BDO similarly gave no reason for its resignation at the time.
