Accountancy and business advisory firm, BDO, has appointed three new partners, Sandi Dosanjh, Maria Cobo Huerta, and Lee Jarrett.

Cobo Huerta and Jarrett both join from PwC and will be based in London. Sandi Dosanjh joins BDO as an advisory partner and will be based in the Midlands.

Dosanjh’s previous role focused on leading large scale control transformation programmes for FTSE 50 businesses. Her role at BDO will be to lead the digital risk advisory team of the region, covering areas such as cyber risk management, IT optimisation and controls transformation. She joins from KPMG.

Cobo Huerta joins as a partner in the firm’s audit practice with a focus on risk and quality. With reportedly over 20 years spent working in Spain, the USA and the UK, she has done a variety of roles across audit, most recently leading on internal quality reviews, root cause analysis (RCA), action planning, ISQC (UK) 1 monitoring and ISQM (UK) 1 implementation. Her role at BDO will see her lead the RCA, action planning and monitoring team.

Jarrett also joins the firm’s audit practice with over 20 years of experience working with large US-owned businesses. He has previously spent time working with clients across the technology, pharmaceutical and consumer market sectors. His role at BDO will see him continue this international focus as part of the firm’s US audit team.

Paul Eagland, managing partner at BDO, said: “Sandi, Maria and Lee’s appointments reflect our ongoing investment in our audit and advisory capabilities and resources. Businesses across all sectors are navigating a difficult economic climate and require increasingly complex advice in order to succeed.

“Since the start of this year BDO has appointed 16 new external partners, each one bringing extensive knowledge and experience to the firm. They are all valuable additions to our team.”
