Your Cloud Accountant, a South-West-based accountancy firm, has announced a change in its business model to focus wholly on online businesses.

Alongside the switch, the group will now trade as Your Ecommerce Accountant to reflect the shift in direction.

The company primarily works alongside businesses on marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay, and e-commerce platforms including Shopify and Magento.

Providing a range of services, including cloud accountancy integration, VAT requirements, bookkeeping automation advice, and everyday accountancy tasks, the group’s client-base comprises firms of a range of sizes, from sole traders to large limited companies.

Ben Sztejka, founder of Your Ecommerce Accountant, said: “We are seeing sustained growth in the ecommerce sector in terms of new startups and existing businesses switching to an online model.

“Whilst the business world is changing, accountancy needs to change with it – which is where our offering comes in.”

He added that the firm’s goal is to become the “go-to accountancy firm” for the UK’s e-commerce businesses, by supporting companies with both “bookeeping and accountants” and “business growth and international expansion”.
