Xero has announced a three-year global partnership with DFK, the international network of independent accounting and business advisory firms.

The collaboration sees DFK awarded the new Xero global partner status, while Xero will become the association’s platform of choice for its member firms and business clients.

The deal is intended to empower member firms to drive deeper conversations with their clients through the use of Xero’s “up-to-date information”.

Through Xero’s financial insights and advisory services, small businesses will be able to instead focus on “growing their business, exploring new markets, or improving processes”.

Xero said that the partnership offers an “exciting step” for the group to “grow in new and existing markets”, as well as delivering value for its partners.

It added: “Through the Xero global partner status, our aim is to work with global organisations with firms in multiple countries, that have shared goals, reach and scale.

“This partnership with DFK paves the way forward for more opportunities like this and we continue to explore how we can partner with other like-minded organisations of this nature.”
