Larking Gowen, a regional accountancy and business advisory firm, has appointed Jack Minns as a partner to the group’s corporate transactions team.

Based in Norwich, Minns assumed his role as partner on 1 April, having been promoted to director at the company in 2020 after seven years at Larking Gowen.

He will provide the position with a range of corporate transactions experience, including business sales, acquisitions, and management buy-outs comprising deal values of between £500,000 and £20m.

James Lay, corporate transactions and business advisory partner at Larking Gowen, said that Minns puts “the delivery of great client service” at the forefront of his actions.

He added: “Jack has earned a well-deserved reputation for advising numerous business owners on buying, selling and valuing private businesses.

“We’re proud to have Jack in our firm, and I’m sure he will continue to advise on many more successful deals in the years to come.”

Alongside his responsibilities in the corporate transactions team, Minns will also support the firm’s expert witness and forensic accountancy work.

Minns said: “Primarily, our aim is to help businesses in East Anglia with their growth and succession plans.”

He added that the firm’s “open and empowering culture” has pushed it “ahead of the curve in employee wellbeing and engagement”.
