The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) have announced a series of board-level appointments, as well as changes to its leadership team.
Sharron Gunn will serve as the trady body’s chief operating officer (COO), while Dabinder Hutchinson is set to become the ICAEW’s first chief financial officer (CFO).
Both will report to Michael Izza, the association’s chief executive.
Furthermore, from 1 April 2021, the CEO, COO and CFO roles will form the executive representation on the main ICAEW Board.
Izza said: “Following a rigorous selection process involving ICAEW Council and Board members, I am delighted to announce the appointments of Sharron and Dabinder as our new chief operating officer and chief financial officer, respectively.
“Sharron and Dabinder have already achieved a great deal in their time at ICAEW and both have a deep understanding of the vital role our members play in supporting businesses and economies around the world. I congratulate them on their appointments and look forward to working with them to drive forward our new strategy.”
