The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) has announced that its AAT Future Finance 2020 and the AAT Training Provider Conference 2020 have been cancelled due to the Covid-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.

The professional body said it is actively monitoring government information and advice and added the safety of its members is its “primary concern”.

The Training Provider Conference was set to take place in Stratford-upon-Avon in early June, with AAT Future Finance 2020, an event for AAT members and the wider accounting sector, scheduled for mid-June in Birmingham.

The AAT said: “All face-to-face AAT events have been cancelled, through to the end of June 2020.

“We’ll be in touch with everyone who had already booked their place at the events and will be offering full refunds.”
