Professional services firm Azets has appointed Gaurav Mathur as a partner in its corporate finance business, joining the transaction services team in London.

Mathur will lead the firm’s London-based transaction services team and support its national corporate finance operations.

The appointment is the fourth partner hire made by the business in recent months.

Mathur’s role will include overseeing due diligence work for buyers and lenders, and supporting cross-border transaction activity.

The business has continued to invest in its corporate finance capabilities, including additional senior hires.

Lee Humble, UK head of corporate finance at Azets, said: “Whilst deal markets remain subdued and execution often ‘sticky,’ our own deals team remains highly active and hungry for more.”
