Business advisory firm Quantuma has promoted restructuring specialist Alyson Richards to director, based in its Southampton office.
Richards, a licensed insolvency practitioner, is a member of the firm’s restructuring and insolvency team and has more than 20 years’ experience advising on corporate restructuring and personal insolvency.
Her work has included liquidations, administrations, company and individual voluntary arrangements, and bankruptcies.
Recent assignments include overseeing the wind-down of a funeral plan provider through administration, rescuing a trailer manufacturing business and preserving more than 50 jobs, and restructuring a healthcare company via a company voluntary arrangement.
Quantuma said the promotion reflected Richards’ technical experience and her role in supporting businesses and individuals facing financial difficulty.
Quantuma provides restructuring, insolvency and advisory services to businesses and individuals across the UK.
Kelly Mitchell, managing director, said: “I am delighted to congratulate Alyson on her well-deserved promotion within our growing restructuring and insolvency team in Southampton. Her appointment further strengthens our senior expertise, allowing us to support an increasing number of business clients.”
Richards added: “I am very excited about my new role and the opportunities that it presents to contribute towards Quantuma’s success.”
Chris Newell, the firm’s UK restructuring and insolvency lead, concluded: “This promotion is thoroughly deserved, as a result of all the hard work and technical ability that Alyson has shown.”
