S&W has appointed partner Andrew Dymond to its Birmingham audit team as it expands its Midlands practice.

Dymond, who joins from PwC, brings more than two decades of experience advising mid-market and large businesses across the region.

He previously led PwC’s central non-financial reporting team, where he supported companies responding to evolving environmental, social and governance reporting requirements and rising demand for audited grant claims.

The new partner has advised clients across manufacturing, service-based industries and private equity-backed companies, and has worked with listed groups and inbound investors. His background covers statutory audit, risk management and business assurance, with a focus on helping firms meet regulatory obligations while improving operational efficiency.

Dymond said: “I am thrilled to be joining S&W at such an exciting time. The opportunity to build on my experience working in the East Midlands private business equity market, backed by the strength and depth of the regional S&W team, was something I couldn’t refuse.

“I enjoy getting to know my client’s business, their team, strategy and culture. I then blend this understanding with my technical expertise, to deliver a high-quality audit with a personal touch – cutting through complexity and delivering exceptional client service.”

Stephen Drew, regional managing partner at S&W, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Andrew to S&W. His depth of experience, particularly in ESG reporting and private business markets will be invaluable as we continue to expand our presence and deliver exceptional service to businesses across the Midlands. With his client-focused approach, I’m confident he will make a significant impact for our clients and our people.”
