Cooper Parry has announced that it has appointed Liz Ross-Jones as audit partner whilst promoting Holly Green and David Fotheringham to the same role.

Ross-Jones joins after 20 years at PwC having worked with listed companies, privately owned and equity-backed firms as well as foreign-owned subsidiaries across sectors including food and drink, manufacturing, and energy.

Her track record spans GAAP conversions, acquisitions, business sales, and finance system transformations. All delivered with a straight-talking approach that cuts through complexity.

Green joined Cooper Parry in April 2022 and has been instrumental in growing Big Business Audit, winning complex group audit clients.

Meanwhile, Fotheringham joined the business 12 years ago and since then, he’s played a pivotal role in transforming what was once a fledgling start-up into London’s go-to firm for Tech and High Growth businesses.

Ross-Jones said: “What stood out to me about CP was the energy and ambition. It’s a firm that genuinely cares about people and the impact it makes, and that really resonated with me. I’m looking forward to building strong relationships across Yorkshire and the North East, joining a team that brings CP’s values to life every day.”

Katie Warrington, national head of audit, added: “Seeing our audit partner group grow with Liz joining and Holly and David stepping up is a huge milestone. It reflects the momentum we’ve built and the ambition we have for the future. Liz’s experience and straight-talking approach will strengthen our team even further as we continue to deliver audits that go beyond compliance to add real value.”

Cooper Parry has teams across the UK and Ireland in London, Midlands (E&W), Manchester, Leeds, Thames Valley, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
