BK Plus has appointed David Griffiths as partner and head of restructuring, further expanding its senior leadership team as the firm grows its UK advisory network.
Griffiths brings more than 24 years’ experience in insolvency and restructuring, including 15 years as a licensed insolvency practitioner. He has advised hundreds of businesses through financial challenges and is recognised for his “pragmatic, client-focused approach”.
He succeeds Richard Tonks, who has moved into a new role as head of acquisitions. The change forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen BK Plus’s restructuring and transaction advisory capabilities.
BK Plus now operates from 30 offices across the UK, providing accounting and advisory services to SMEs with a focus on local support backed by national expertise.
Griffiths said: “Businesses are under pressure from every angle right now, and they deserve advisers who can listen, act quickly and work alongside them. That’s exactly what we’re here to do.”
Shaun Knight, chief executive of BK Plus, added: “Griffiths’s appointment comes at a crucial time for SMEs. His calm, clear and people-first approach makes him a perfect fit for BK Plus. He strengthens our growing network and reinforces our focus on regional delivery with national impact.”
