Lubbock Fine has promoted Robert Hoad to partner in its corporate tax team, expanding the firm’s senior leadership in tax advisory and compliance.

Hoad joined the firm in 2019 and has since played a key role in growing the corporate tax team five-fold and broadening its service offering.

He specialises in corporate tax planning, due diligence, and relief claims, advising a range of clients from owner-managed businesses to large corporates and fund structures.

With more than 15 years’ experience, Hoad advises on transactions including business sales and acquisitions, fundraising for entrepreneurs, profit extraction, and transfer pricing.

Before joining Lubbock Fine, he worked at a Big Four firm and another independent practice.

Lubbock Fine advises businesses of all sizes on tax compliance, structuring, transactions, and specialist reliefs.

Phil Blackburn, business tax partner at Lubbock Fine, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Robert to the partnership. He’s been central to the development of our corporate tax team and his expertise continues to deliver real value for our clients.”

Hoad added: “It’s a privilege to join the partnership at Lubbock Fine. I’m proud of how far the tax team has come and excited to keep building on that success with our clients.”
