Jerroms Miller Specialist Tax, part of the Sumer Group, has announced the promotion of Nick Wright to head of corporate tax.
Wright has been with Jerroms Miller since it was formed in 2022 and will be responsible for leading the team and continuing to build its reputation both for tax advice and for tax information online.
Along with presenting regular webinars and seminars, Wright will also host the ‘Tax Hour’ podcast, discussing various tax issues with industry experts.
Wright takes over from Pete Miller, co-founder of Jerroms Miller. Miller will take on the role of technical director and will “concentrate on maintaining the firm’s reputation for technical excellence and on mentoring the younger members of the team”.
It said that Wright’s experience and deep understanding of corporate tax will be “invaluable” in navigating the complexities of these transactions, “ensuring clients receive the best possible advice and support”.
Wright said: “I am looking forward to leading the team and driving our strategic initiatives. We have a fantastic, dynamic and growing team, and with Pete’s continued technical support, I look forward to continuing to build a reputation for providing expert tax advisory services to our diverse client base.”
Miller added: “The time was right to pass on the mantle to Nick. It has been a pleasure to lead the team for the last three years and I am excited to see Nick take it to the next level.”
