Accountants and business advisor PKF Littlejohn has appointed Howard Jones as a business tax partner, specialising in the insurance sector.

Jones has over 30 years of experience in financial services and joins PKF Littlejohn from Grant Thornton, where he led the insurance tax team. He has also worked for Aon, the insurance broker, and two of the Big Four accountancy firms.

Chris Riley, head of Tax at PKF Littlejohn, said: “PKF Littlejohn’s Tax team has grown significantly over the past few years due to increasing client demand, and we’re continuing to invest significantly in this area to make sure that we stay ahead of the game and keep up with all of the work that we’re winning.

“Bringing in someone of Howard’s calibre is an important part of that strategy. Howard has helped businesses from owner-managed brokers to listed multinationals, so is ideally placed to support the full range of PKF Littlejohn clients.”

Jones added: “I’m looking forward to working with my new colleagues and helping the business to continue to grow. PKF Littlejohn is known for looking after its people and its clients, and that’s reflected in its high retention rates. I share that philosophy, and am excited about what we can collectively achieve.”
