Duncan and Toplis has become the first-ever patron of the UK Fresh Produce Network (ukFPN).
The ukFPN is a Lincolnshire-based network to link UK fresh produce companies with the local and national supply chain.
It is an interactive, member-led organisation, supported by the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, providing a variety of services to inform, promote and lobby at the highest level.
According to Duncan and Toplis, its patronage with the ukFPN will “create a range of opportunities to work closely with the local and national fresh produce sector”.
Alistair Main, head of Audit and Assurance at Duncan and Toplis, said: “At Duncan and Toplis, supporting local businesses and the community is fundamental to our values. Becoming the first patron of the ukFPN presents many opportunities to continue this reach and show our commitment to assisting and advancing the local fresh produce sector. We are looking forward to working closely with the organisation to drive meaningful advancements in the fresh produce industry.”
Tammy Doughty, head of ukFPN, added: “We are delighted to welcome Duncan and Toplis as the inaugural patron of ukFPN. This partnership is not only a testament to their investment in the future of fresh produce but also a significant endorsement of our mission and objectives. This relationship is crucial as we work collaboratively to promote innovation, sustainability, and growth within the sector.
“We are confident that with Duncan and Toplis by our side, we will achieve remarkable progress in addressing the challenges and opportunities facing the fresh produce industry. Their expertise and support are invaluable, and we eagerly anticipate the positive impact our collaboration will have on the sector.”
