TC Group has announced that it has merged with Harlands Accountants to create TC Harlands.

As a result of the deal TC Harlands will gain the support of TC Group’s national and international network.

This continues TC Group’s expansion strategy which has included a raft of acquisitions.

Just this year the company has acquired Lang Bennetts, Crossley Group, Citroen Wells and Lister and Co.

Harlands partners said: “This is a significant milestone in our journey and this merger with TC allows us to help more clients build their businesses across the UK. Furthermore, having spent considerable time with the TC team already, we are excited that we will be able to continue to evolve the role and perception of accountants over the coming months and years. Our shared values align perfectly, and we are confident that this collaboration will be great for all the team and our clients.”

Mark Adams, TC Group’s head of partner services, added: “Harlands is a trusted and highly regarded firm of business advisors and accountants who provide outstanding service to their clients. By joining TC Group, they give us a major boost to our representation in the North East. Harlands’ addition to TC Group represents, once again, our strategy of joining forces with ambitious firms that wish to merge and grow.”
