Evelyn Partners has announced the appointment of Emma Queen as a business tax partner to help support the expansion of the firm’s Cambridge office.

Queen joins from PwC where as director of private business she worked with business owners and entrepreneurs to help them achieve their personal and professional goals including transaction support and efficient structures.

She will be based in the firm’s Cambridge office, based on Trumpington High Street. The 50+ strong team offers clients a range of assurance, corporate finance, business and personal tax services.

Regarding her appointment, Queen said: “I am so excited to be joining the team at Evelyn Partners. The mid-market in Cambridge and East Anglia is thriving. This market is my home in all senses of the word. I love working with family businesses and entrepreneurs on mapping out a plan, tackling difficult decisions together, seizing opportunities and ultimately maximising value.

“I have very ambitious plans for our team here. There is no doubt that Evelyn Partners is embarking on a bold journey and I have no doubt about what our team, and our clients, will achieve together.”

Stephen Drew, regional managing partner of Evelyn’s Partners Cambridge office, added: “I’m delighted to welcome Emma to our fast growing professional services team in Cambridge. Emma brings extensive experience of working with private businesses to help them grow and succeed.

“This is very much the market where we see continued opportunities to work with more clients in the region. I am confident that Emma’s tax and financial expertise in this area will be invaluable for the ongoing success of our business.”
