PwC replaces Grant Thornton as Gama Aviation auditor

British business aviation services company, Gama Aviation, has announced that the board has approved the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) as the company’s auditor for the financial year ending 31 December 2019.  

The appointment will be subject to shareholder approval at the AGM to be held on 27 June 2019.

PwC will replace Grant Thornton UK who issued a statement detailing the circumstances connected with its ceasing to hold office as auditor of the company. The statement confirmed that Grant Thornton were not aware of any circumstances connected with its ceasing to hold office that need to be brought to the attention of the company’s members or creditors.

According to Gama Aviation’s financial results, Grant Thornton was paid £431,000 in audit fees for year ending 2018.
