Meanwhile, Alison Statham joins as chief risk officer and Carl Sizer as chief markets officer.
Additionally, Andy Hammond has been appointed to the role of head of audit, Jonathan House as head of Consulting, and Lucy Stapleton as head of deals. Stapleton will also take on the role of global deals leader.
Lastly, Claire Reid joins as head of risk, Claire Blackburn as head of tax, Simon Hunt as chief financial and administrative officer and Phillippa O’Connor and Umang Paw as chief people officer and chief technology officer respectively.
Amitrano said: “I’ve chosen a team that combines experience with fresh perspectives to ensure the firm is able to respond effectively to a dynamic environment on behalf of our clients, our people and our broader stakeholders.
“Selected with consultation from PwC’s supervisory board, these board members are hugely respected within the UK firm and throughout the PwC Global Network. They are team players, but bring diversity of thought and have the confidence to challenge. They also share a desire to get things done – I’m excited about what we can achieve together.”
