Grant Thornton UK has promoted four new equity partners across its forensic, asset recovery, tax and public sector advisory teams.
The move forms part of the firm’s plans to add 160 equity partners by the end of 2027. It has recruited 40 partners so far this year.
The promotions include London-based Chris Boddy in forensic and investigation services, who has worked in forensic accountancy for more than 20 years.
Meanwhile, Irena Scullion becomes a partner in indirect tax. Scullion has more than 15 years of tax advisory experience in the consumer and technology sectors.
Elsewhere, Simon Christian has been promoted to partner in public sector consulting. Christian has worked in local government and public sector transformation for 18 years.
Finally, Ami Sweeney becomes an asset recovery partner. Sweeney has 17 years of experience handling cross-border insolvency, private client disputes and offshore structures.
Chief executive Malcolm Gomersall said: “These newly promoted partners represent the very best of our firm. They are trusted advisors with deep expertise in areas where our clients need clarity, confidence and specialist insight.
“Their promotions reflect the impact they are already making and the leadership they will bring as we continue to grow. Together, they strengthen our ability to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients while advancing our long-term ambitions.”
