Bishop Fleming has promoted eight employees to partner across its tax, advisory, and audit divisions.

The promotions bring the total number of new partners appointed by the firm over the last 12 months to 13.

The audit team accounted for five of the appointments, with Alastair Campbell, Tom Morrill, Charlie Martin, Jamie Vinall, and Matt Haskell joining the partnership.

Adele Clapp and Becky Targett were promoted within the tax department, while Phil Redgate became a partner in the advisory team.

The appointments expand the total partner group to nearly 60 across nine regional offices. The expansion follows a growth period for the firm’s Birmingham office, which has scaled to eight partners and more than 30 employees since opening in January 2025.

The business also increased its headcount after welcoming nearly 1,000 new clients during the year.

Management confirmed that the broader business promoted 56 employees across all levels of the firm over the same period.

Andrew Sandiford, managing partner at Bishop Fleming, said: “These promotions recognise the outstanding talent, ambition and commitment of our people. Each individual has made a meaningful contribution to our clients, our teams and the wider business, consistently demonstrating the leadership, expertise and values that define Bishop Fleming.

“With 13 new partners appointed this year alone, taking our partner group to almost 60, these promotions mark an exciting moment in the firm’s continued growth. They also reflect the strength of our talent pipeline, and our goal of expanding to more than 60 partners by the end of the year.

He added: “Over the past 12 months, revenue has exceeded £50m and we have welcomed nearly 1,000 new clients. As we continue to expand our tax, advisory and audit teams, supported by the expertise of our partners and colleagues, we are well placed to build on this momentum and further strengthen our position as one of the South West and Midland’s leading audit, accountancy, tax and advisory firms.”
