DPC, part of the Sumer Group, has expanded into Nottinghamshire with the addition of Jacksons Chartered Certified Accountants.

The deal brings Jacksons’ team of 15 professionals into DPC, strengthening its position in the East Midlands and increasing its capacity to serve small and medium-sized enterprises in the region.

Jacksons operates from offices in Nottingham and Newark, which will continue to trade following the transaction.

Founded in Nottinghamshire, Jacksons has built a local client base across the county and surrounding areas, providing accountancy and business support services to owner-managed businesses.

Following the acquisition, Jacksons’ staff will join Sumer Group’s national network of more than 3,000 colleagues working across over 60 offices.

Clients of Jacksons will have access to Sumer Group’s wider professional services offering, including audit, tax, advisory and business support, while continuing to work with their existing local teams.

Michelle Coates, managing partner at DPC, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jacksons to DPC and the Sumer Group. Their strong reputation and client relationships in Nottinghamshire align closely with our focus on supporting SMEs across the UK.”

Julian Jackson, director at Jacksons, added: “Our clients will gain access to enhanced service capabilities while maintaining the personal relationships and local knowledge they value.”
