Accountancy and professional services group DJH has officially signed a joint venture with Perspective Financial Group to launch a new wealth management business, expanding its advisory offer to clients.

The partnership will create DJH Perspective Wealth Management, marking DJH’s first move into wealth management and forming part of a wider growth strategy aimed at reaching £100m in revenues by 2028.

DJH, which operates from 16 offices across England and Ireland, said the venture would give its clients immediate access to around 200 wealth advisers specialising in retirement planning, pensions and protection. These advisers will work alongside DJH’s existing inheritance tax, trusts, wills and probate teams.

The arrangement also brings additional expertise in tax-efficient wealth growth and business exit planning, aimed at helping business owners maximise value when selling or stepping back from companies they have built.

Scott Heath, chief executive of DJH, said: “This is a very exciting joint venture for us and creates a full solution offer for both our existing and new clients.

“Perspective Financial Group shares similar values of trust and exceptional service, and is completely independent, so not linked to any specific products or packages. This means clients receive impartial, tailored advice that meets your exact needs.”

The deal gives DJH access to Perspective Financial Group’s national infrastructure of more than 60 offices, providing immediate scale and reach. The structure is also intended to support DJH’s acquisition strategy as it seeks to grow into one of the UK’s top 20 accountancy firms.

Ian Wilkinson, chief executive of Perspective Financial Group, added: “This is a very exciting deal for our business, and we are delighted to be joining forces with such a trusted professional service group, resulting in decades of now combined specialised, multi-disciplined experience across a vast range of markets and sectors.

“Together we will be able to deliver a full spectrum of financial solutions tailored to every stage of a client’s growth and financial goals.”
