PKF Littlejohn has announced the appointment of Mike Lee as director in its advisory and restructuring team, bolstering the firm’s Manchester office.

Lee, a chartered certified accountant, has more than 30 years of experience as a corporate advisory and turnaround specialist in the North West. He will advise clients facing creditor pressures, with a focus on cashflow analysis, refinancing and contingency planning.

He has previously worked on major recovery projects including stabilising an engineering group affected by operational and leadership problems, and overseeing a recruitment agency through a company voluntary arrangement after severe cashflow difficulties. Lee also served as the agency’s outsourced finance director during the process.

Lee said: “Having helped a variety of companies to return to a more secure financial footing, I’m looking forward to continuing this work at PKF and leveraging my hands-on experience. The firm has a strong, well-respected team and I’m excited about contributing to its future growth ambitions.”

Paul Williams, partner at PKF Littlejohn, added: “Mike has a deep understanding of the issues affecting businesses across a variety of industries. Having spent the majority of his career assisting companies in and around Manchester, his appointment underscores our commitment, and appetite, to deliver solutions and services to clients in the North West.”
