Forvis Mazars has appointed 326 new trainees to its UK offices, as it continues its commitment to developing early careers talent and investing in people.
The new cohort will be based over 13 offices across England and Scotland, joining teams in five service lines, with the majority entering the firm’s audit practice.
This year’s intake includes 172 graduates, 79 school leavers, 43 returning placements, and 32 industrial placement students.
The move comes as Forvis Mazars rose 15 places to achieve its highest-ever position in the Times Top 100 Graduate Employers, and was ranked in the Sunday Times Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers.
In addition, students from the firm outperformed the average in the latest ICAEW exam results by 12.4%. First-time exam takers achieved particularly strong results, scoring 9.4% above the institute’s benchmark across all papers.
Margaret Laidlaw, head of People and Culture at Forvis Mazars in the UK, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome this year’s cohort of trainees to Forvis Mazars and we look forward to empowering them to reach their full potential.
“Their ambition, curiosity and drive will help shape the future of our firm. We’re committed to giving them the support and opportunities they need to thrive, and we’re excited to see the impact they’ll make.”
