PKF Francis Clark’s Bristol office has grown to a 100-strong team of accountants and tax advisers after welcoming 11 new trainees this month.
The latest intake brings the total number of new starters in the past year to 25, including senior appointments such as business advisory director Carmelo Lattuca and audit senior manager Kyle Evett.
The new trainees are beginning AAT and ACA apprenticeships with the firm.
PKF Francis Clark, which has been recognised in the UK’s Best Workplaces rankings for three consecutive years, employs more than 900 people across its offices.
The Bristol office, based on Victoria Street, is led by nine partners and four directors. Staff support local charities through volunteering and fundraising, with Gympanzees named as this year’s charity partner.
Paul Bray, partner and head of the Bristol office, said: “It’s always a pleasure to welcome our new trainees, and this year it’s extra special as they have helped us reach this milestone. Having 100 colleagues here in Bristol is something to celebrate, but this is just the start.
“Our growth since we opened this office just over six years ago has exceeded my expectations. Clients in Bristol and the surrounding area have really embraced us as a refreshing alternative, but at the same time we bring a long track record as the South West’s largest independent chartered accountancy firm.”
Bray added: “I’m proud of how far we’ve come in a short space of time and the calibre of people who have joined us. There’s a vibrant team spirit which makes this an attractive place to work. As well as growing our own talent, we’re continuing to recruit experienced advisers with strong client relationship skills.”
