Professional services group Xeinadin has promoted 10 senior professionals to partner, bringing its total number of partners to more than 200 across nine regional hubs.

The promotions reflect the firm’s focus on developing its in-house talent and strengthening its strategic advisory services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly in financial resilience and planning.

The new partners work across sectors including construction, agriculture, legal and not-for-profit. Their appointments support Xeinadin’s goal of expanding its tax, succession planning and consulting services alongside its core accountancy offering.

The promotions include:

  • Adam Marlow, who joined the group in 2018, began his accountancy career in 1988 and now focuses on business sales, restructuring and virtual finance director support. His new role will see him concentrate on succession planning and inheritance tax strategy.

  • Janet Charlton, a chartered accountant with nearly 20 years’ experience, joined Xeinadin in 2022. She specialises in advising owner-managed businesses and mentoring trainees, and acts as an audit responsible individual, ensuring compliance and quality in reporting.

  • Alan Taylor qualified in 2002 and has held operational roles within the firm, including overseeing software implementation and Making Tax Digital compliance. He manages a general practice portfolio and has developed expertise supporting holiday and residential caravan parks across the UK.

  • Mark Everington, an accountant since 2009, has more than 20 years of experience and particular expertise in the construction sector. He continues to play a key role in delivering tailored strategic advice.

  • Gill Lowcock, who qualified as a chartered certified accountant four years after joining the profession, was made director in 2023 and promoted to partner in 2024. She has worked with clients ranging from sole traders to corporate groups.

  • Deborah Fletcher-McVay leads the audit team in Northallerton and manages a portfolio including SMEs, legal practices and not-for-profit organisations. She trained at a Big Four firm, working in London, Sydney and Leeds before joining Xeinadin.

  • Susie Campion, a long-serving member of the audit team, began managing her own portfolio in 2004. She joined Xeinadin Lancaster as partner in 2024, working with a wide range of businesses from sole traders to large groups.

  • Yvonne Coulston joined the Lancaster office in 2024 with over two decades of experience. Originally from Keswick, she has a specialist focus on the agricultural sector and on succession and inheritance tax planning.

  • Bill Moores brings almost 40 years of experience in tax and accountancy. He has built a reputation for client-focused service, now specialising in taxation for barristers.

  • Carl Danvers qualified in 2001 and played a key role in the formation of Xeinadin Coalville. A founding member of the group, he now serves as area managing partner for the Leicester region.

Xeinadin chief executive Derry Crowley said: “The appointment of new partners is a clear reflection of the incredible talent and expertise we have within Xeinadin.

“Becoming a partner is a significant achievement, and each of these individuals has demonstrated years of unwavering commitment, excellence and leadership. Their contributions have been instrumental in driving the business forward. As we continue to expand capabilities and help SMEs build greater financial resilience, I look forward to seeing these new partners step into leadership roles that will further strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional service across the UK and Ireland.”
