Cooper Parry has appointed former PwC partner Adam Waller as head of tax consulting.
Based in Manchester, Waller will lead Cooper Parry’s national tax advisory team, overseeing strategic work across business tax, private client, and transaction tax.
He brings more than 25 years of tax experience, including 14 at PwC, where he served as market senior partner for the North West.
His clients ranged from entrepreneurial start-ups to large corporations and high-net-worth individuals.
In his new role, Waller will lead a national team focused on delivering strategic tax outcomes.
His areas of expertise include shareholder exits, succession planning, employee incentives, inheritance tax, and business and wealth structuring.
Cooper Parry has a growing national presence across the North West, Scotland, the Midlands and London.
According to the group, Waller’s appointment “reinforces its position in the UK tax advisory market”.
Waller said: “After 14 fantastic years at PwC and a career in the Big Four, I was ready for a new challenge and Cooper Parry really stood out.
“The firm’s energy, ambition, and people-first culture are genuinely different. CP is growing fast, making waves in the market, and I’m excited to help shape the next chapter of its tax advisory journey.”
Simon Baines, head of tax at Cooper Parry, added: “Adam’s arrival is a major boost for our tax team. He brings deep technical knowledge, commercial insight, and a passion for helping clients navigate complex challenges. His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to expand our national advisory offering.”
