Hurst has announced the promotion of Ryan Tattler to associate partner, marking his fourth promotion within the firm’s business services team.
Tattler first joined Hurst as a trainee and has since risen through the ranks since qualifying in 2018.
The business services team, which includes more than 70 staff, is Hurst’s largest team and provides audit, compliance, strategic advisory, outsourcing and business planning services to a national client base.
Tattler is the latest member of the business services team to be promoted. Earlier this year, Aaron Booth, Alex Burgon and Lisa Everett became managers, while Georgia Hall was promoted to associate manager. Danielle Tierney was also promoted to manager in the corporate finance division.
Mike Jackson, partner and business services team leader at Hurst, said: “We pride ourselves on providing a supportive environment where our people are nurtured and empowered to develop their careers, and Ryan is just one example of the many talented individuals who have joined us as trainees and gone on to progress within the practice.
“Ryan has shown he can build strong relationships with clients while maintaining the market leading professional standards we expect. He has also shown himself to be a strong leader within the firm, helping to drive change and develop how we run the business.”
Tattler added: “I’m incredibly proud to have been promoted to associate partner. It’s a significant milestone in my career and a reflection of the support and opportunities I’ve had at Hurst over the past 10 years.
“The variety and complexity of the work make each day different and rewarding, and I owe a great deal to the colleagues who have trained and developed me along the way. Hopefully I can be an example to our trainees and recently-qualified team members that you don’t need to move around to progress in your career, as Hurst provides all the opportunities you need to thrive. It’s a brilliant place to work, and I’m excited to contribute even more as part of the leadership team.”
