Quantuma has announced the appointment of Sam Gaunt to the role of London-based managing director in its restructuring and insolvency team, as part of the firm’s continued expansion.
Gaunt, who has over 20 years of experience in mid-market and large complex restructurings across multiple sectors, joins Quantuma from a top-tier independent advisory firm where she spent four years as a director.
She also spent over 12 years in the restructuring team of a Big Four practice which included four years on the leadership team. Sam also had two previous roles with Big Four firms, which included six years in Ireland where she focussed on both restructuring and forensic work.
Gaunt’s arrival at Quantuma follows the recent appointments of Tom Parish and Hannah Griffin in January of this year and Tracey Pye last Autumn, all of whom joined the firm as managing directors.
Gaunt said: “I am excited to be joining Quantuma and look forward to working with such a dynamic team. I welcome the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s ambitious growth plans, including increasing our capabilities in the London region.
“I am eager to begin working together with all of my new colleagues in Quantuma’s Restructuring and Insolvency team to achieve optimal results for our clients.”
Paul Zalkin, managing director of Quantuma, added: “As a firm we are committed to recruiting ambitious, high quality managing directors from top tier Restructuring and Insolvency firms. We are therefore really pleased to welcome Sam to Quantuma’s expanding team in London.
“Sam is a fantastic operator in the market: technically savvy, commercially astute and brilliant with people. We are delighted that she is joining us at such a pivotal point as we continue to realise our growth plans.”
