Saint and Co Chartered Accountants has announced the appointment of two new audit managers, Tom Page and Yasir Saeed, and an audit senior, Viraj Naik, to join its audit department.

Originally from Cumbria, Page joins the firm after working within the large and complex audit department at Deloitte in Manchester

Meanwhile, Saeed brings experience of working internationally, most recently with PwC. he moved to England a few years ago, having completed his accountancy training in Pakistan and developed his career in the Middle East. 

In addition, Naik has experience working at a top firm in the Middle East, having completed his studies in India. 

The new hires will be assisting clients from the firm’s main office in Carlisle’s Rosehill Industrial Estate. 

Sophie Graham, training partner at Saints and Co, said: “Welcoming Tom, Yasir and Viraj to the team is a major development for Saint and Co, and they will pass on the vast experience they have gained on to the less experienced, younger students here.

“Appointing three people with such extensive senior experience will benefit the firm significantly, and their appointments will strengthen our audit department for many years to come.”

All three new recruits are based at Saint and Co’s main office in Carlisle’s Rosehill Industrial Estate.

Saint and Co operates across nine offices throughout Cumbria and Dumfries and Galloway, with bases in Carlisle, Ambleside, Cockermouth, Penrith, Wigton, Millom, Annan and Dumfries.
