Specialist business advisory firm FRP has expanded its services and strengthened its team on the Isle of Man with five additions to its Douglas-based office.

Ashley Harris has joined FRP as an assistant manager, while Romana Partington has joined as senior administrator, Kellie-Ann O’Hare as an insolvency administrator, and Melissa Sexton as executive PA / office manager.

The team has also welcomed assistant manager Georgia Devlin on long-term secondment from FRP’s London office. A contentious insolvency specialist, Devlin’s arrival expands the range of services offered to FRP’s local and international client base directly from the Isle of Man – building on its existing insolvency offering and its commercial advice on issues such as shareholder disputes, corporate simplification and reorganisation, regulatory intervention and director conduct.

This expansion comes as FRP approaches its first anniversary of having an on-the-ground presence on the island, having entered the Isle of Man market in March 2024 with the acquisition of advisory and insolvency firm GWC.

The acquisition was FRP’s eighth since it listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in March 2020 and was an important milestone in its strategic growth plan, helping it further expand its international reach.

The Isle of Man office – which now boasts 10 team members – made a positive contribution towards FRP Advisory Group’s results for the first six months of FY25, which saw revenue increase 32% to £77.6m.

As part of its commitment to the local community, FRP has also signed a three-year deal as the principal sponsor of FC Isle of Man, beginning in 2025.

Gordon Wilson, partner at FRP, said: “We have big ambitions to be the leading restructuring firm on the island, combining our local expertise with the specialisms we have across our national office network to provide the very best service to our clients. Within a year after the FRP brand arriving in Douglas, we’re already significantly expanding our team. Ashley, Romana, Kellie-Ann, Melissa and Georgia will each play critical roles in our growth journey, and we’re excited to have them on board.

“We’re also thrilled to start 2025 as the main sponsor for the Ravens. We wish everyone on the squad the very best for the rest of the season.”
