Champion Accountants has announced the appointment of Sreelakshmi Prakashan, Orire Oderinde and Catherine Dootson, bolstering its teams in Chester and Manchester.
Prakashan and Oderinde have joined the Chester branch as accountant and audit trainee and accounts and audit semi senior, respectively.
With three years of experience as an audit assistant in India, Prakashan also holds a master’s degree and a CA qualification at intermediate level. Oderinde also holds a degree in accounts and finance, and has prior experience managing dental accounts.
Meanwhile, Dootson has taken up the role of accounts and audit semi senior at Champion’s Manchester headquarters, where she will leverage her extensive expertise to manage accounts and deliver a range of services spanning bookkeeping, VAT returns, CIS returns and corporation tax.
The appointments follow “significant” expansion within the firm’s audit arm, which was in response to a surge in client demand.
Prakashan said: “I’m thrilled to be part of the Champion team. The opportunity to work with such a diverse range of clients and collaborate with a skilled team of colleagues is incredibly rewarding.
“Having worked on audits for three years in India, I’m eager to contribute while continuing to grow and develop professionally and personally.”
Ged Cosgrove, group managing partner at Champion Accountants, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Sreelakshmi, Orire and Catherine to our team. Each of them has already demonstrated their value, and we’re excited to support their continued growth and development at Champion.”
