Cooper Parry has announced the appointment of Nick Campbell Lambert as its new audit partner.

In his new role as an audit partner in the Big Business team, Lambert will be working closely with mid-market, PE-backed and AIM listed businesses across London and the South.

With almost 30 years of experience in the Big 4, he brings a whole host of varied skills to the team. Prior to joining Cooper Parry, he worked for 24 years at PwC in London and two years with Deloitte in Sydney.

Lambert has also supported a wide range of multi-sector PE-backed businesses in various corporate CFO roles.

Lambert said: “After a few years away from the UK audit profession, I’m looking forward to combining my extensive experience of large corporate audits and working with growing PE-backed businesses, with the fast-moving, close-knit relationships that the mid-market needs from their advisers.

“Getting to know CP over the last six months has been incredibly powerful, personally and professionally. The external positioning of the brand and culture aligns with everything I’ve seen and everyone I’ve met so far, and the appetite for growth is huge. Right now, the mid-market in London feels ripe for disruption, and I’m excited to grow CP’s audit practice here, work with forward-thinking businesses, and mirror the huge success CP has already had in the Midlands.”

Ade Cheatham, CEO of Cooper Parry, added: “Culturally, technically, strategically, Nick is a fantastic addition to our team and I know he’ll have a big impact on CP’s continued growth in the South. Our journey to build the next-gen professional services firm has gathered a lot of pace recently, and with more big announcements in the pipeline, it’s exciting to keep offering more and more field-leading expertise to clients.”
