Lovewell Blake has welcomed a cohort of 20 trainees across its offices in Norfolk and Suffolk, made up of school or college leavers and graduates. 

The trainees, which are at Lovewell Blake on an annual basis, are also undertaking professional qualifications. 

Those joining from school and college have started the AAT, whilst graduate trainees are studying for the ICAEW – onto which AAT-qualified staff can also progress. 

Meanwhile, those starting their career with one of the firm’s tax teams will study towards their ATT, leading onto a CTA professional qualification. 

The firm is one of just 17 firms in the region to have been recognised as a ‘Gold Best Employer’ in the Best Employers survey.

The new entrants are working across offices in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Thetford, Halesworth and Bury St Edmunds. 

Mark Proctor, training partner at Lovewell Blake, said: “It is always exciting to welcome a fresh group of enthusiastic people, who have made it through our rigorous selection process into our well-regarded training programme.

“As a firm we are committed to training the next generation of professionals. We work very closely with schools and colleges in the region to encourage young people to enter the profession, and to ensure that we attract the pick of the crop each year.” 

He added: “I wish all of our new entrants every success, and look forward to watching them achieve qualifications, and progress in their careers.”
