Kreston Reeves has welcomed a bumper intake of 49 trainees and students across the firm’s offices in Kent, Sussex and London.

The trainees and students include GCSE, A-Level, work placement and university graduates who are studying for a range of qualifications including the ICAEW Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA), Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Certificate in Finance and Business (CFAB).

In August 2024, Kreston Reeves was named as one of the country’s top 50 apprenticeship employers in the annual Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers List, also receiving the “highest score for diversity apprentices” out of all top 100 apprentice employers.

The firm is also one of a small handful of accountants accredited as an “Employer Training Provider” and Ofsted-inspected with 186 employees in training or studying for professional qualifications.

Karen Thompson, head of learning and development, said: “It’s always a delight to welcome so many new, enthusiastic students to Kreston Reeves. The engagement and energy from this year’s group was truly inspiring, and I’m sure they’ll achieve great things here.”

Susan Chadwick, HR director, added: “Our apprenticeship scheme continues to be a pillar of growth and development at our firm, enabling students to gain hands-on experience whilst earning their qualifications. We’re looking forward to supporting our new starters in beginning their career journeys in the best way possible, and demonstrating our purpose as a firm, guiding them to a brighter future.”
