Haysmacintyre has announced the appointment of Geoff Johnson as partner in its financial services team.

He joins Haysmacintyre’s financial services team from Blick Rothenberg, where he was a partner.

His 17 years of financial services experience spans hedge funds and captive insurance companies based in the Cayman Islands, to work in Canada and now the UK working with FCA regulated managers.

He brings a deep knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, and exposure to US GAAP, alongside a tailored service to suit clients’ individual circumstances.

Johnson said: “I am thrilled to be joining the award-winning team at Haysmacintyre during a period of unprecedented growth for the firm and the sector. I particularly enjoy developing long-term client relationships, drawing on my career experience from around the world and different regulatory environments. I look forward to supporting the Financial Services team as it continues its strong track record in providing top tier accounting services.”

Natasha Frangos, managing partner at Haysmacintyre, added: “We are delighted to welcome Geoff to the Haysmacintyre team. Geoff brings with him vast experience in the Financial Services sector, an area of our business where we have seen consistently impressive growth, thanks to the excellent work of our specialist team. Geoff is a welcome addition to our financial services team, which spans audit, outsourcing, accounts, VAT and partnership, corporate and personal taxes.

“We are excited to welcome him to the firm as we strive towards our ambitious growth plans. We are continually evolving Haysmacintyre’s offering across all service lines and sectors, reinforced through our dynamic and innovative group of partners.”
